Jose did not want him, Roman did; so no surprise it has taken him longer to settle or that there are problems; especially as Jose could not sign Ben-Haim for £5m, while Shev could 330m.
This could have been Chelsea's back four-back when Terry and Carvalho:
Gallas, Huth, Alex, Glen Johnson.
I do not think Chelsea will dominate for that long; Roman, Peter and Frank are destroying a team that could easily be the best in the world. They have so much money, they can buy who they want. However, their ethos has cost them the title this season. I am sure there will be more problems over players.
