You can start if you want. Thanks for the screen-shots. I have looked at Watford and seen what their squad is like but I did not play a game or save the game.

Cool. Will start tomorrow me thinks!

Might post my friendly results for the laugh when I win them :-)

p.s. Like the skin?

How do you change that? Although I prefer the original background. I never play the friendlies.

You go to preferences and then display/sound. There is an option to change the skin.
Before that you obviously need to download a skin, put in into Program files/Sports Interactive/data/skins directory

You can download skins here

I am to get a gist of who's best in what position. I'll probably play 5 friendlies, the last one against really weak opponents to get moral to superb.

Pre-Season Friendlies

1-0 (L) Swansea (a)
1-0 (W) Coventry (a)
4-1 (W) University College Dublin (a)
6-0 (W) Northwood (a)

The standout players during pre-season were striker Marlon King who scored 6 goals in 6 appearances, averaging a rating of 7.83 and left back Jordan Stewart who made 5 assists in 6 games, with an average rating of 7.5.

League

Watford 0 - 0 Chelsea

Chelsea came to Vicarage road for the first league game of the season fresh from a Charity Shield victory over Liverpool. Naismith, Robson, Brown and Lucic were all in the starting lineup for Watford to make their Premiership debuts. However despite Chelsea's dominance of the game, a man of the match performance from Danny Shittu kept the scoreline at 0-0.

Tottenham 1 - 1 Watford

Barry Robson scored his first goal for Watford after 7 minutes to put his side 1-0 up. Five minutes later, Teddy Lucic gave away a penalty which was tidily tucked away by Dimitar Berbatov to level the score. Lucic was replaced in the second half with Jay DeMerit who shored up the Watford defence and ensured the game finished level.

Watford 4 - 3 Everton

James McFadden scored an early goal to put Everton into the driving seat, but Steven Naismith's first Watford goal after 22 minutes brought his side back into the game. Further first half goals from Arteta and Valente seemed to have wrapped the game up for Everton, however Marlon King's second half hat-trick made sure the points went to Watford and he walked away with the man of the match award.

Overall: played 3, won 1, drew 2, lost 0 is a great start to the season and hopefully we can build on it!
