Remember to post a screen shot of the message from your chairman.

Good stuff mate. If you finish the season there then you will probably win!

Chairman message is there. Unfortunately, the middle part of the season has not gone so well. 2nd update to follow.

I can't see a screen-shot of the chairman's massage telling you the wage budget & transfer funds.

Chairman message is there. Unfortunately, the middle part of the season has not gone so well. 2nd update to follow.

2nd update - 1st February 2007

September - League

0-1 (L) Middlesbrough (h)
0-0 (D) Reading (a)
0-1 (L) Charlton (h)

After the good start to the season the reality of the Premiership hit home. A draw with Reading either side of a 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough and Charlton was more in line with pre season predictions.

October - League

3-2 (W) Bolton (a)
3-3 (D) Newcastle (a)
1-2 (L) Man City (h)
0-0 (D) Fulham (a)

October was a good month. A hard fought away win at the Reebok was supplemented with away draws with Newcastle and Fulham too. Man City was the only blip this month.

November - League

1-2 (L) Arsenal (h)
1-2 (L) Liverpool (a)
1-2 (L) Blackburn (h)
2-1 (W) West Ham (a)
1-1 (D) Portsmouth (h)

Three straight 2-1 defeats didn't help with the team's morale. An end of month resurgence however saw us pick up some points away to West Ham and home to Portsmouth.

December - League

0-0 (D) Sheff Utd (a)
0-3 (L) Aston Villa (a)
1-2 (L) Wigan (h)
0-3 (L) Man Utd (a)
0-4 (L) Chelsea (a)

We must hae been naughty this year because Christmas certainly didn't come for us. A disappointing draw at Sheffield Utd was followed by 4 straight demoralising defeats.

January - League

1-4 (L) Everton (a)
2-1 (W) Tottenham (h)
2-2 (D) Newcastle (h)
0-3 (L) Middlesbrough (a)

In January we found a bit of form to beat Tottenham and get a hard fought draw with Newcastle. Heavy defeats at the hands of Everton and Middlesbrough were disappointing.

League Cup

0-1 (L) Stoke (a) - 2nd round

A shock defeat at Stoke saw our league cup campaign over before it had even really started.

FA Cup

1-0 (W) Hull (a) - 3rd round
0-1 (L) Newcastle (h) - 4th round

After our league cup disaster, we were wary of the tie at Hull, but we kept it together long enough for a 1-0 win. A late Newcastle goal saw our dreams of an FA Cup run quashed as well.

Best player - Jay DeMerit (Avg rating 7.23 from 21 starts)

Top Goalscorer - Steven Naismith (9 goals in 24 starts)

Most Assists - Steven Naismith (6 in 24 starts)

Most appearances - Jordan Stewart, Danny Shittu (27 starts each)

Most MOM - Danny Shittu (4)

My apologies, I was wrong. My messages now don't go back that far I'm afraid. I don't think I'm in much danger of winning he challenge anyway :)
