Guys - I'm pretty busy next week - so I'm going to be the 'control' manager.

I'm just going to stick with 'general' training, buy no players, and just play it straight.

It'll be interesting to see what difference your training/tactics makes against the defaults.

When i first got the new 2007 game, my mate did too. Myself, him and his two brothers (also had the game) all started as newcastle. Me and my mate changed coaches / training etc and the other two didn't. they both finished 2nd and won a trophy.

Me and him finished mid table, if not lower and won nowt. that was before any patches.

So i tried this with the first patch and finished second! I did that as i was at work sneaking a game or two in and not messing abotu with training. think i was 2 points behind chelsea in the end!

So it's tempting but it's a big risk if it doesn't work i think

We could extend to it another week, if you like. Although, I may end up finishing the season, within a week.

My cousin was Barca once and they only had £3m as well. Newcastle have better players then Watford, although Owen is injured.
