Maxim (yes, sorry...) has listed what it believes to be the "manliest" meals, and at first I thought every meal would be a wagon-wheel sized platter of steak and potatoes. I was close, but apparently, a manly meal is just anything that's grossly enormous and calorie-laden. Whatever happened to "Real men eat quiche?"

details include=
* Tomahawk Chop-Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, $120 (New York, Fort Worth)
* The Big Bob's Texas Belt Buster-Bob's BBQ & Grill, $400 (Pattaya, Thailand)
* Big Pig Gig-Daisy May's BBQ USA, $480 (New York)
* Deep Fried Pizza-The Atlantic ChipShop, $3 per slice (New York)
* Ditch Dogs-Ditch Plains, $15 (New York)
* The Big Sandwich - bread, sausage, hamburger, cheese, bacon, deep-fried Lean Pockets, brats, jalapeño poppers, Cruncheros, waffle fries, Doritos, deep-fried pepperoni, and an entire jar of mayonnaise

lol -the big sandwitch looks rank! and I cannot imagine deep fried pizza tasting at all nice!

I always think of a huge bowl of porridge to be quite a manly meal

It is actually quite nice!
Cheese and tomato pizza, dipped in batter and then fried - lovely.
If you dont want the batter, just chuck the pizza straight in the fryer.

Coming from Scotland, this is a delicacy to us!!
