If you've never seen this US smash, you're missing out. Jericho imagines a nuclear aftermath where the inhabitants of a small Kansas town are left wondering whether they're the last human beings left standing.
When twenty three nukes take out much of the United States, the people of Jericho are forced to pull together to survive. The mayor's son (played by Jake Green) reluctantly has to take the lead, while his dad is forced to act against riots breaking out across town.
The townsfolk breathe a sigh of relief when the Dept of Homeland Security rolls in, only to be confronted with a freak power surge that leads to fires breaking out and more chaos.
Jericho is another of those US series with a staunch fan base. When the network attempted to pull the plug at the end of the first season, a deluge of emails, fan sites and letters lead them to reconsider.
