Doomsday, the British sci-fi thriller from director Neil Marshall (The Descent, Dog Soldiers) arrives on DVD on 1st September. Thanks to Universal Pictures (UK) we've got a snazzy wireless gaming and DVD appreciation chair and a copy of Doomsday up for grabs.
The year is 2033. Thirty years ago a deadly plague, known as the ‘Reaper Virus,’ broke out in Scotland, killing hundreds of thousands in its wake. In desperation, the British Government brutally quarantined the affected area as it surrendered to public fear and social chaos.
Thirty years later, with the victims all but forgotten, the virus violently resurfaces in London. In a state of emergency a crack team of operatives led by the sexy, feisty Major Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra – The Number 23, Shooter) are sent into the hot zone, where survivors are believed to be, to investigate the possibility of a cure.
