Britain is top of the chocs

We munch our way through 605,000 tons a year, making us the chocoholics of Europe

Survey company Datamonitor found that we eat 10kg a year on average, five times as much the figure watching Italians.

Britons spend £72 a year on average, compared with £40 in France, £31 in Germany, £18 in Italy and £12 in Spain.

Health concerns aside, it's good to know we can still come top of something. Time to wave the flag while munching a Snickers...
