Alien Vs Predator sequel confirmed

20th Century Fox have confirmed that there will be a follow up to the 2004 monster grappling bonanza

Fox co-chairman Tom Rothman said: “We will do another one of those for sure. It was a big success. In the new Alien Vs Predator they will finally actually really come to our world."

He also announced that brothers Greg and Colin Strause, famous for their special effects work on hits like The Day After Tomorrow and X Men, would take over as directors.

Colin said: “We really want to take it back to the original Alien and Predator films and make a serious, gritty horror film.

"We want to take it back to its roots, without losing sight of the human struggle. That's what made the originals so good."
