Charlton and Boro must scrap again

The last FA Cup semi final place is still up for grabs after a goalless draw at the Valley

Middlesborough's diary is looking jam packed after tonight's clash - almost fifty games played so far this season and now yet another fixture to slot in.

The replay won't take place until Wednesday April 12th because of the club's Uefa run.

“I didn’t really want a draw", said Middlesborough boss Steve McClaren. "But I’ll take it if it means we’re still in the Cup."

The audience had to settle for an uninspiring display. Charlton defender Hermann Hreidarsson came closest to scoring but was twice denied by Boro goallkeeper Mark Schwarzer.

Curbishley's men seemed more confident than McClaren's. Seeing as both men are in the frame for the England job, could the final result swing it?
