Embrace picked for World Cup Song

"World at your Feet" is the not so catchy title, but maybe it'll have a good beat...

The Huddersfield rock band have got a hard act to follow. Footballing anthems are no longer about mumbling soccer stars with curly perms.

England have performed better off the pitch than on with John Barnes rapping over "World In Motion" and Baddiel and Skinner's Three Lions re-release for the 1998 World Cup.

The FA hope we'll all be humming Embrace's ditty come summer.

"We're confident that Embrace's song will capture the imagination of the fans and players alike", said a spokesman.
